Introduction
HELP US TO GIVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE
Lost, sick and starving, abandoned, rejected, struck by motor cars, left to die or to drag themselves out of the traffic if they can.
Mothers with puppies born in holes in the ground - were they drown during the rainy season.
Puppies taken from their mothers before they were weaned, to be sold on the side of the road and in markets.
Hidden in sacks and baskets without air, water or food. No affection.
At ANIMAL SOS MADAGASCAR SHELTERS they are cared for in every way, to become socialised pets with basic obedience training and ready for a good home.
They spend no more than a few hours a day in a kennel, the rest of the time they run free, play and learn to be part of a pack without aggressivity.
The regular visitors to our sanctuaries and the owners who bring their own dogs for training and to socialise, further ensure that our orphans make wonderful pets that would be a pleasure in your home and for your family, and companions for older dogs.
They are great guard dogs, alert you to intruders.
An Animal SOS dog is fully vaccinated and sterilised.
Dogs adopted receive treatment at Vetclinic at a preferential price for life.
SSSM kennels offer ongoing training sessions free of charge for dogs adopted at Animal SOS Madagascar.

Volunteering
There are a number of ways you can help us as a volunteer :
Come to the sanctuary in Analamahitsy anytime to play with, brush or cuddle our proteges
Come to the sanctuary in Ivato on Saturday mornings, when we do agility training with the junior and adult residents
Temporarily foster one of our animals if you're unable to adopt
Fostering helps the animal, and leaves space in the sanctuary for another stray
Help us to find new foster families
Help us to become more widely known - we welcome your suggestions - in order to be able to continue our work
Help us to find donations from your friends, acquaintances, companies - rescue organizations operate almost exculsively on the principle of voluntary giving
How about about donating equipment: leashes, collars, bowls, blankets, medicine, food, etc.
